Dear Superwed Cars

We hired the 1959 Routemaster bus from Superwed to come and provide the transport for our wedding day.

Out of all the things we organised and the ‘little touches’ we added to our wedding that people occasionally raise, the bus is by far and away the most talked about. And entirely in a good way – our guests loved it, and it was such a good talking point and ice-breaker between guests too. It was also so nice for us to hear people shouting out ‘congratulations’ as we drove past them, and cars honking their horns and also shouting out their best wishes too! The bus was in great condition, perfectly preserved, with wedding ribbons and petals/confetti tastefully distributed around the bus, and a special seat ‘reserved for the bride and groom’ on the way back! The two gentlemen who staffed it were friendly and accommodating, and dressed to look the part!

We would have no hesitation in recommending the bus, and the driver and conductor to anyone who is considering using them. An excellent idea to make it available for weddings, lots of fun, and great value for money.

Just a little message to thank you and John our driver for your excellent service for our wedding day. It was a very cold day and John was extremely patient waiting for us during the ceremony to take my husband and I for a short drive to have a moment together before the rest of the day unfolded. He was the perfect driver for myself and my mum and sister to get us there and was very calm before the event! The car was beautiful and I am sure once we see the photographs it will look splendid - I have seen one or two with the car in from guests so far and it looked just as I had hoped.
